I’ve been working with GeoIP2 and Nginx on Debian for the past few years on personal projects. I wrote some time ago about Compiling, Installing and Configuring the GeoIP2 module, which gives you access to the latest code changes but requires recompilation with every Nginx version update.

I like lighttpd, is easy in resources and to configure; but there are other players like NGINX which is a great alternative with tons of resources available on the internet and a great community and documentation.

This quick recipe is to install and personalise Vim with themes from Airline. I reckon Vim is a bit hard to learn, but once you know how it works it will empower your hands, also there are tons of command combinations to do cool things.

What have I been doing these days? Well, I believe that getting some knowledge is very important, but just uploading your brain with it is not what I think we should do.
